One of the promises of blockchain is that processes could become a lot cheaper by cutting out ‘unnecessary’ intermediate steps. In this use case we plan to gain some insight into the validity of this claim.
We aim to draw up a generalised model or guidelines to regard costs in a blockchain implementation.
We plan to look at one particular implementation of a blockchain, and check whether this implementation will reduce costs compared to the current situation without blockchain.
This exercise will then hopefully allow us to draw up a generalized model or guidelines to regard costs in a blockchain implementation.
